In today's digital age, where answers to almost every question are just a click away, the true challenge in education has shifted. It's no longer just about finding information, but about deeply understanding it. Younger generations are particularly at risk of developing only a shallow understanding of concepts, as easy access to information can sometimes substitute for real learning. Drawing from the concept of CS50's debugger, which aids in coding without giving away answers, I explored how this approach could be adapted to broader learning contexts, with "No Answer GPT"
No Answer - Encouraging Understanding Over Answers
Its purpose is to act as a real tutor who doesn't just hand out the answers, chosing understanding over rote memorization. Unlike typical GPT models that provide direct answers, this tutor focuses on sparking curiosity by offering explanations and hints instead. It's an idea to help students, or anyone for that matter, engage more critically with the material they are learning.
If you want to build your own custom GPT, the builder on the OpenAI platform does the job, but if you want a more custom approach or you just want to brainstorm the configuration options before you starting customizing your model, feel free to check this GPT:
Architect - Efficiently guides GPT creation with minimal user effort
This GPT doesn’t build anything per se; rather, it prepares you for the configuration screen of the GPT Builder. It's a conversation partner, throwing ideas your way about potential data sources and actions for your project. Think of it as a roadmap or starter kit for creating your own GPT model. It offers: Description, bullet-point instructions, suggestions for the knowledge base, suggestions for API integrations or other actions.
I've also uploaded some research papers from open.ai and announcements post-April 2023 to provide the most up-to-date help with this GPT Architecht.
Photo Real - Expert in crafting detailed, realistic image prompts
Photo Real is essentially custom instructions in a GPT format, but it's quite effective. It refines your prompts, hopefully improving the outcomes.

With the array of tools and models available today, the ability for anyone, regardless of their coding expertise, to set up custom GPTs on the OpenAI platform is truly impressive. It makes one wonder, how long before a natural language like English becomes the preferred choice for programming, transforming the way we think about coding altogether?
